The story that I want to share is, the basic yet often talked about transition, between high school and college. High school was so much easier for me back then, you could get away with so much more and not worried about homework as much. Now in college, it feels like I’ve sat down for the longest, scariest, most agonizing rollercoaster of my life. English in high school wasn’t much of a concern to me. Teachers didn’t persist on teaching students good writing habits or the depth of what writing can go into, like they do in college. You can accomplish many things with the power of knowledge. Learning is a major key to succeed in life if you are to become somebody greater than you image. Being able to learn reading and writing is a necessity in everyday life. Sure you need it to get through school, but it comes into effect when working in your future career or when reading street signs down the road. You probably don’t notice how much you do it on a daily basis. But you need to see how you can express yourself through reading and writing. Some of my friends’ use reading or writing as a way to get away from stress. They use what they know to help themselves. They can in turn also use it for other reasons of their choosing. Honestly, I didn’t know what college was going to have in store for me. 1301 was a shock for me and now 1302, I don’t know what to expect but more lectures on understanding reading and writing, and of course putting it to use in
