English, for the most part, have always been the subject I struggled with, so I generally try to make it one of my first priorities. In years prior, my English teachers were always nice, helped with learning items better and such. I recall, in sixth grade, English have been always a struggle. One day, my teacher decided to help me. It made me ecstatic because it would help me. Ever since then, it has helped a great deal and I even made honor roll. Personally, when it comes to learning, quality teachers make all the difference in a big way. Pleasant teachers always help with concentration, and then I became particularly become interested in the material. One hobby of sorts that has always been important to me is writing. I rely on it for many things such as my choice and style of words to get my points across, and it is important that I use them correctly. Once, in fifth grade at school, I wrote a short story. I worked really hard on it, pouring my heart and soul into it. When I finished, I gave it to my teacher, with low hopes that she would enjoy it. My teacher surprised me and told me that she enjoyed my story and that she was interested in helping me develop my writing skills. Since then, my confidence in my writing has boosted and my skills have become stronger. Reading helps me concentrate on writing while helping expand my tones in used. I find that I often run out of books to read, for few books specifically seem interesting to me now. My teachers in the past would, for the most part, help find interesting books and actually read my stories. These qualities are important for me to see in a teacher, because one day I aspire to publish a book and shine light upon topics untouched and not written often enough
