My Support System The three people that I am inviting to dinner, helped me get through the passing of my mother. My husband, children and Pastor. My husband helped me through love and support, his being by my side and telling me that my mother is looking down from heaven at me and she wants me to keep on living life to the fullest. My kids help me just by being there with me, because I knew that I had to be strong for them. I went to my pastor for that godly advice, and she told that my mother was in a better place and that God did not mean for my life to end just because hers did. All of these people were put in my life to help me through, their love, support and advice helped me

The case-control design also has inherent limitations. One notable weakness is that it is essentially cross-sectional. Longitudinal studies collect data on alcohol use at baseline and follow study participants over time to determine if they develop AD. Because high levels of alcohol use are associated with greater mortality, drinkers may be more likely than nondrinkers to die before developing AD, so a protective association between alcohol use and AD may simply reflect selective mortality. Clearly, longitudinal studies provide a better design from which to address issues such as selective mortality.…

Good article summary. Clinical Decision Support Systems combined with EBP are such a good tandem when used properly in healthcare industry. It provides additional safety measures to reduce common medical errors, and misdiagnoses. Similar to other technological advances in medicine, and nursing, it should only be treated as an assistive tool, and not the basis for treatment. “The knowledge base must be updated and maintained when research evidence shows new findings important for patient care” (Alexander, Frith, & Hoy, 2015, pg. 227).…

On the other hand formal sources of support offer systems that promote your learning and enable you to reflect on your practice. This is an important process for professional development as it allows you to receive feedback from others in regards to your practice. For example a staff member may feel they have no flaws in their practice, but after having a supervision could be made aware of areas that they need to improve on. Personally I feel that both the above support systems are as effective as each other because together they cover such a wide aspect of a job role.…

The risk that are likely to be met by Jackson is, if he fails to make a real collaboration that is sound both in selectivity and accountability, the president might decidedly call off the knowledge sharing application which is something that is of great importance to Jackson in his position as the information officer of the company. There is the uncertainty as to whether the firm would be able to live up to the expectation if it were to be selected as a provider. I believe in family dinners. Sundays, holidays, “because I made a big batch of spaghetti sauce” days—any day is a good day to gather with good grub and family. Growing up, Mom usually cooked our dinners Monday through Saturday. Her creamy beef stroganoff served over hot, buttery egg noodles was the ultimate in comfort food and could make even the most dismal days of winter seem cheerier. Tacos to casseroles, meatloaf to Swiss steak, Mom’s meals weren’t gourmet feasts meant to appease the persnickety palate of a gourmand or grace the cover of Bon Appètit magazine.…

As the Chief Information Officer in my business, I’ll be suggesting a new system for the current network attempting to improve the overall quality and efficiency of 250 client computers and 50 servers. My first decision would be to change the system to a Distributed Operating System (DOS). My reason being that the reliability of the network will increase and there will always be room for improvement such as adding more client computers and servers. While updating the server to DOS this system will allow more size and the reliability of the database to be used. Instead you could distribute them across multiple instances decreasing the likelihood of system outages, and making errors easier to deal with (Thakur, n.d.).…

Computer based transactions can be a great thing when everything behaves and runs the way it is expected. However there is always the chance that the system will have a glitch, or that the person on the other end does not know how to navigate the system in general. Sometimes computer-based transactions can be more difficult as there is not another person to talk to and explain the situation at hand. Some people I know personally could not fight their way out of a brown paper bag let alone navigate through a computer-based transaction. In my opinion as a customer, I prefer to be able to speak to a real human instead of a computer.…
