My Summer Quarter Analysis

This winter quarter is a significant and also a hard quarter for me because this is my first quarter taking the regular courses. While trying to adapt to the new environment, different way of teaching and learning, I also tried my best to finished every assignment with good grade. Through these ten weeks I've faced many difficulties and challenges in different area from my studies to the relationship between me and my roommate. However, I've also learned lessons from my experiences. Here I want to share three things I have learned in this quarter that I think are helpful for my learning and daily life, too. Since I am taking the regular classes this quarter while she is still in the ESL, I have more homework and need more time and a quiet room to study. Nevertheless, she never put on her earphone when she is watching videos, also she has some bad behaviors which kind of annoying me. Because I don't want to have a worst relationship with her, it becomes harder for me to tell her that I don't appreciate the way she acts. It was not until a coupon of weeks ago I finally wrote a note to her. Ask her to put on her earphone and to turn down the volume in the morning while I am still sleeping. This is not my first time living in a dorm, but my first time having a not so good roommate. I learned that people from different family, regions, or countries might have different habits and life style, it is not an easy thing to find a great roommate that match you perfectly. However, now I understand that I need to express my feeling and communicate with people when I don't feel comfortable, because no one else could help me solve the problem if I refuse to face it. I have to be responsible for every choice I made. If I decided to tolerate the things she has done to me, then I have no right to complain and whining about
