I attend church at least twice a week on Sundays or Wednesdays. I use spirituality as a source of comfort. This is necessary when I need confirmation or need help with overcoming an obstacle. For this upcoming semester, I will use spirituality to communicate with God and to look for comfort when times are getting tough. I will use it to build a better relationship with God while fulfilling my emotional and physical needs. I am also a Resident Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington. Every once in a while, a resident questions me about my faith or requires assistance with growing a relationship with God. I am eager to answer any questions they may have. As a baby, my parents made sure to instill into me, as well as my siblings, the routine of attending church, learning about Christianity, and professing my faith as a Christian. I would not be where I am today if it was not for them guiding and leading me down the path of becoming a well-rounded Christian. Another family member that has contributed to the development is my grandmother. My grandmother taught me the importance of prayer and meditation. This is a part of my daily routine and it alleviates stress that I deal with on a daily basis. Prayer allows me to feel relieved while growing a stronger connection to God. My church members are essential in my development of spirituality. Each member supports me and prays for my future endeavors throughout my college career and wherever the path of life will take me. I pray and support them as well with whatever they need spiritual help with. Additionally, they have helped shape and mold me into the woman of God that I am
