My Strengths And Weaknesses Of My Writing

My writing has developed better throughout the years. When it came to my writing there were many problems that I had to face to become successful. When I began writing I was struggling to figure out how to put my words together in an essay, which was grammar, organization, and focus. I had good ideas for my writing but not enough focus, communication, and explanation. People who read my paper could not understand what I was writing about, which was a problem. My writing was not that good at that time because it wasn’t clear and focused on the main idea.
My strengths were coming up with good ideas and finding good sources for my essays. My weaknesses were having incomplete sentences, incorrect word choices and not identifying a sentence fragment. I had many weaknesses in my essays, most of time I had spelling errors or misused words. When it comes to my weaknesses, I had trouble with focusing on one idea at a time. For example, If I am writing about how beauty and the beast feel in love with each other, I interrupt that idea and skip to them getting married and having a happy ever after. My professors taught me to be clear and organized for my audience and be sure to back up my arguments. They also taught to find better sources for my topic and to analysis the topic carefully for the audience. Writing has taught me that it’s more than just a skill. What writing is to me is a tool that inspires our minds to express creative ideas on to a paper or computer. Writing motivates me to push myself to do better and not worse.
