It’s the time of the year in which a new year has begun, and new resolutions are made. It can be an exciting time where most leave behind the past year and focus on the new and fresh beginnings. We tend to fall back at times and forget the goals we have set for ourselves. My first and main goal is to be determined to get through this year without failing and falling back into old habits without making progress, second is to get fit, eat healthy and go to the gym at least five times a week, and last, get back into church, pray and focus on God and with him, I will not fail.
My first goal this year is to be determined to follow through with my New Year’s resolutions and not fail like I have done in the past. One of my strengths is being determined, nine times out of ten, I will succeed but that one percent always pushes me down after a couple of months. I am determined to get through school with good grades, move up in my job, surround myself with friends who will encourage me all along and pushes me to do better daily. I will not fall behind as the year goes on in which I feel normally happens. This is important to me because my future depends on my choices that I make from here out, and if I stay determined, I will not fail. I will succeed.
