As a little girl, I didn’t quite realized that the friends I choose or the school that I attended were going have such a big impacts to my identity. I had no idea that the religion my parents practiced or the teachers that happened to be chosen for me where going to develop and shape who I am now. I was more concerned with the little things in life, like the spelling quiz or the next episode of SpongeBob. As grew little by little, all this variables in my environment contributed in solidify the many strengths that were going to help me navigate life. Yet the top three strengths that stand out among the rest are being responsible, focus, and an activator, strengths that allowed the successful transition into the life stage I’m now on; College.
Since I was very young I vividly recall my mother saying that God was going to give her as much kids as he wanted, and that she was going to welcome them all. Her religious inclination, alongside with her fruitful mindset as she called it, allowed me to be the oldest of five children. The immediate relationships and expectations imposed to by the title “Older Sister” took me through a lifelong road of responsibilities.

Teachers don’t want to get fired, and schools often suffered from cut backs if the student body doesn’t perform well. This led to countless encouragement for student to perform well in the classroom and later in state test. The development of the child which is “increasingly complex” (Dimmitt, 2017, slide 10) sometimes was overlooked and only the end numbers matter. Teachers will push their kids to do their best because they knew that without results both parties will suffer in one way or
