A Maximizer is putting your full potential into the job you are doing. This strength is not one that I imagined myself as having, although I do try my hardest in everything I do, especially when it comes to glorifying God. From school work, to sports, to socializing, I try my absolute hardest to achieve all that needs to be achieved and work hard at it. The most potent example which comes to mind was my senior year in high school. For our senior project in English, we had to do a 20-minute presentation and a ten-page essay. I worked as hard as I could to get the best possible grade on this assignment. I had a B in this class and this project itself brought my grade to an A. All of my efforts the second half of the semester were put into this project so I was able to show my best possible work in this class, and it paid off. As I have been attending classes here at Biola, I have not only noticed classes are much harder, but they take a lot more work than high school does. I can use this strength to try my hardest in all of my classes, and do my very best, even in the ones that aren’t my favorite. This strength also relates to my life after college and how I will present myself to students. If I show up to teach class every day and decide I am not going to put my full potential into my job, I might as well not show up. Maximizer is incredibly important in my future
