The largest aspect seen in every story was the portion of ourselves that we believe is made up of our family. I would have liked to make a five minute video on everyone that made me the person I am today, but I realize that there is not enough time in a day or in a month or even in a year to share that. For reasons I don’t even know, I find it incredibly hard to share my feelings and this project is great representation of that. So many of my classmates put it all out there and I wish I had the bravery to do that too. A part of the ‘whole person’ that is sometimes underplayed is the social aspect. To be socially healthy is important because it feeds into your mental and physical health. After hearing everyone’s story, I believe this class created a safe social environment for everyone so much so a majority of the class felt comfortable sharing their reserved thoughts with people who were complete strangers a few months ago. After this new space was created I noticed a new respect and understanding for those in this class, which really tended to my sense of mental and emotional health. In the end, I am so glad I got to spend this semester everyone, and feel like a more enriched person after having these people in my
