1. Define yourself. Who are you?
Saundrea is an elaboration of “Sandra”, which means “helper of mankind.” I truly believe my name destined who I am to as a person. I am a helper of mankind, beginning my life journey after Belmont. I have many plans before I graduate and post-graduation that I will encompass. In order to achieve my goals, I must be at peace with myself and my relationship with God. When I feel I am at my fullest potential, I am serving my community and providing a positive impact to others’ lives. I am a strong minded and head strong woman who works best under order and authenticity. I am a creative soul who capitalizes off of creating community, events, fliers, and outfits. A few of these principles have guided me through my time at Belmont and I believe they will continue to set me apart from the crowd and excel. Perseverance is what will keep your vision important just as the day it became a fresh idea. Perseverance will teach me to conquer through obstacles, so that I can truly appreciate the end goal. To have a great sense of perseverance, you must have faith. Faith reminds you that you are not in this situation alone, and you were not put into a situation that couldn’t bear. I love to remind myself and other that God puts His strongest soldiers through the hardest test. This provides comfort that He made my destiny before He made the storm, so even though I might struggle this is only a temporary storm. Determination goes hand in hand with perseverance because you must have a sound mind in order to be successful. You must be focused on the end goal, and ensure yourself that your plan is worth achieving. Once you are determined, it is easier to help others gain the knowledge that you are aware of. Helping those around you could be providing insights on jobs, serving your community, or simply encouraging others to fulfill their
