For my Story Corps project I interviewed my mom. I decided to interview my mom because I thought about how interesting it would be to find out a little bit more about her because I have known her for eighteen years and there are still many things that I don’t know about her. I learned a lot about her childhood and learned some of the many difficult things that she had to endure as a child. I also asked her if she liked going to school and learned that it was one of the things that she loved doing the most, and tried very hard to get farther in her education. My mom was really nervous and thought it was kind of awkward at the beginning and she really didn’t want to do it but I ended up convincing her and in the end she actually really liked
