When I entered this class I barely knew what I was doing. I was mostly scared of the other students because to be colored and on top of all that to be Muslim kind of worried me. I knew I wasn’t goanna be the only Somalia in the entire class but something in my mind keeper reminding me you're still different. The false local news and the stereotypes out there can sometimes get in my head and make me think differently sometimes. When I was signing up for this class I really wanted to know if I was sure about this. Working if other students was sort a problem for me. I don’t like talking in class or raising my hand to answer a question a teacher may ask. When the teacher says we can work in groups I feel relief but then I start thinking about
