My Stereotype Essay

There are tons of expectation that kids have to try to live up to today. I personally don't feel that I can live up to all the expectations put in my life. For example, since I'm a girl I need to be snuggly and lady-like. Also my parents will sometimes forget that I can't be perfect. These are all little things that I can't live up to. Girls fall under the stereotype that we are always lovey-dovey, sit on our mom’s lap, give hugs and snuggle up, but this is certainly not true for lots of girls, especially me. As I've gotten older and have changed as a person, my character, including things I did as a little kid has also changed too. One of the biggest ways I've changed is how I love on close people in my life. Growing up as a little …show more content…
Long guy basketball shorts or athletic shorts make me happy so I wear them. Another thing is that I love to burp, and I'm not going to encourage this one because it's not a good thing! The point is that girls can have fun getting dirty too, although I think most normal girls rather not. Sometimes I feel that my parents forget that I'm not a perfect child. I am born a sinner and mess up and struggle in life every single day. It can be hard to live up to everything that your parents put at your stake. I absolutely try my best at school and there are still lots of times where I fail and get bad grades on test and quizzes. Growing up I've always been super athletic and constantly being involved in sports from baseball, to golf, to soccer, to volleyball, and basketball. One thing that bugs me is that if I have a bad game, then I feel that I have upset my parents or made them disappointed in me. I have lots of expectations in my life that I don't think I can live up to. There are a couple of ones that deeply way on my heart and that is how I should be a snuggly person. That I should be ladylike because I am a girl. Also how my parents can forget how there are no perfect children on this earth. God has an amazing plan for my life, and He will work His Will in every bring I
