As I start this sociology class, I am hoping that it will open my eyes to the way society behaves and thinks. I think it will portray to me how to connect with an individual’s personal troubles and help me to have better decision-making skills in more difficult situations. I am hoping Sociology will help me to have a better understanding of politics and public issues, as well as the motivations behind people's decisions and the way they feel. Sociology can teach me about all kinds of different world cultures and how these people interact with each other within their homes. Sociology will also help me to understand general things about people before I even have the chance to meet them, and teach me not to judge by race or any other trait that
