My short-term goals are to first begin by completing the Associate Degree Nursing program at Mississippi Delta Community College. Once I pass my boards, the goal is to ultimately obtain my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After completing school, I want to work in small rural areas around Mississippi that are in critical need of nurses due to shortages. As I became older, I realized that I wanted to stay in Mississippi so I can uplift and contribute to the place that I call my home. After working for some time, I plan to implement the Hope, Kindness, Enrichment (HKE) Foundation. Those three letters also represent my name, Hydeia Kre’Shaun Edmondson.
