My Senior Trip In Port Canaveral, Florida

It was a hot and humid 87 degrees. I was in Port Canaveral, Florida getting ready to leave for my senior trip, a cruise to Mexico. There was a total of 60 in our group Students, parents, and siblings. I was all looking forward to a week of great food, relaxing and excursions that were planned.
My family had arrived a day early to make sure we didn’t miss our cruise. I hung out by the pool while some shopped, everyone kind of did their own thing. Everyone was anxiously waiting to board the ship in the morning.

After hours of waiting it was time for me to head to my room. When I arrived I was happy to see my luggage. I was given a free 10 dollar gift card to spend freely, and a free 10 dollars credited to our ship card. Everyone was being credited twenty dollars for the delay of the crusie ship.
Since we lost a day at an island we were sailing for two full days. I was anxious to arrive at the first island. I had planned to go para sailing hanging on the beach and soaking up the sun. Well it was midnight and I was finally off to bed. The ship was given the all clear to start sailing. . The next 6 days I had no worries. The point I have taken is to be as grateful for everything I have as it could be taken from me in a split second. Learning my lesson to have patience and that everything will work out for the best. I should not let the small stuff upset me and make the best of the unfortunate happenings that I can’t change. Take the memories that I have and cherish them for the rest of my life. I spent 6 days with with my family and great friends. That I will cherish for the rest of my life. It was the best senior trip I could of hoped
