My Senior Science Scitech Final Reflection Topics

In this reflection on my Senior Science SciTech Final Summative I will be discussing the overall process of the summative, feedback I have received (peers and community) and, any improvements/changes I would make for the future. Firstly, the process of completing the summative was very lengthy. The summative required a lot of time because it was quite difficult. The difficulty came from the initial proposal stage, this stage was like a rollercoaster ride. This stage was by far the most difficult because I had a hard time connecting Physics to Advanced Functions and Canadian and International Law it was pretty much impossible. The way I as able to get a topic for the proposal was by picking up Mathematics of Data Management because Canadian and International Law had been cancelled due to a minuscule number of students. …show more content…
Thus, the topic I came up with was, “Car Crash Physics and Advertising”. This topic discussed the relationship between car crash physics, car crash testing and the advertising and revenue of car manufacturers. When I did my initial rough research on the topic prior to the proposal I found it very interesting so I used this topic after getting approval. Furthermore, the actual research process was not difficult because we had an opportunity to go to the University of Toronto (Mississauga Campus) and use their database to gather detailed research for our summative. After gathering the research, it was quite easy to make my presentation’s initial draft. My interview for the initial draft went very well all I had left to do was make some grammatical changes. I was very satisfied with the final product (PowerPoint presentation) I had produced, I truly felt that it would show the audience how car crash physics and car crash test influence the advertising and revenue of car
