Self Discovery Reflection
Self Discovery is vital in the lives of young adults and is the transition from childhood into adulthood. The purpose of Self Discovery is to allow you to discover yourself and your interests and to help you further understand them when deciding a career path that you would enjoy most. Many individuals utilize this time to do various things such as discover their learning styles and preferences, and figure out/improve their emotional intelligence, all things that will assist them in their near future. Knowing things such as, whether you are left brained or right brained, your multiple intelligences, and what personality type you are can be beneficial when deciding the most suitable career path.
Looking at the Mind Map I constructed to help my self-discovery I would say that I am a “people” person. I have a high Interpersonal Intelligence. I love talking to people, I enjoy interacting and communicating with others, I can tell what people are thinking and when conflict arises I am good at compromising.
