Would you rather be in a job that you hated or in a job that did not feel like a job? Each field of psychology, business or other any other field has occupational interest profiles where these profiles give a detailed explanation of individual jobs. Just like personality traits, why would one stay in a job that they did not feel comfortable or enjoy? Is it an individual’s interest to help another out face to face or is it an interest to stay be in a lab where you may work by oneself? In the mental health field, a counselor is 91% of the time in contact with another person. When I look at a mental health counselor and to interest, I believe it should be a very detailed and well thought out if an individual would rather work with individuals all of the time or just by oneself to discovering, selling, analyzing or whatever it may be that an individual may feel comfortable working. If an individual would work in a place one would not feel comfortable that would just effect their job
