My Responsibility as an American
Everyone has many responsibilities as an American. Nobody should just be able to sit around and let the country shape around them. Everyone wants to complain and talk bad about our country but then don’t want to do anything about it. The least any American can do is show some effort and have some responsibilities as an American. There is endless things that we as Americans can do to have a part in the development of this country. People all have their own opinions on what their responsibility as an American is. It is all what you believe in and how you think you can help your country.
Imagine that you were the only one to stand during the pledge with your hand on your heart. Everyone's eyes are beating down on you as if you were doing something wrong, but you still had the courage to do so. You had the courage to do so because you believed that was your duty as an American. My responsibility as an American is to lookout for future generations, be an informed voter, and put America first and if I can do that then I feel like I have done my part. Just because you aren't in the government does not mean that your word is any less important. It is not always easy to be a responsible American but it is a must if we want this nation to succeed. We always here people complaining about the way that this nation is and how bad they think it is. If people just complain and don’t get up and do their part than this nation will never succeed. My responsibilities as an American is to lookout for future generations, be an informed voter, and put America first . Now you need to ask yourself what your duties are in this nation. Then you need to make sure those duties are fulfilled for your nation. God bless
