I took the resiliency quiz online and my score was 80. The score of 80 is categorized as being “very resilient”. I believe this is 100% true. The quiz interpreted it as “being able to empathize well with others, and to consistently use my past experience to help others”. (Resiliency quiz) Throughout my life I have gone through lots of hardships and setback where the only option was to bounce back and find ways to cope with the situation, and then move on.

At that moment I knew I wanted to be healthy again, I deleted my calorie counter on my phone, and I limited myself to 1 hour of exercise per day instead of three or four. Slowly I started gaining weight back in a healthy way, and actually enjoyed working out instead of it having to be an obligation. I knew that I was the only person that could actually change me. The doctors, nutritionists, and psychologists would help guide me, but I was the one who actually had to make it happen.
I got involved with the Girls on the Run program at an elementary school, which soon became a very strong motivation for me.
