Summary of Activities Outside of our meeting on Sunday October 8th, I spent an hour looking up registration letters online, just to see what other examples are available. I was amazed at how many different registration styles there were. I coordinated with my classmates on clip art for the registration letter and downloaded the sample my professor uploaded for us. I completed the letter and I believe it’s perfect. I can’t wait for everyone to see it also.…
Hope you're having a fantastic week. Know month-ends ain't usually accountants cup of tea, but got reason to believe that you're smiling your way through it. Don't know if madame Elinah told you about the Fitbits, but the bottom line is the discounts vary by type of product ranging from 15-25%, so if you want one then gimme a bunch of options from their retail store and I'll give you back the prices. We can then proceed from there.…
I decided to choose a contemporary piece to write about. Shakey Graves is an Americana musician from Austin, Texas. Alejandro Rose-Garcia is his real name but after a night by the campfire with his friends; Shakey Graves was the Indian guide name given to him playfully by his friends. He has quite a unique sound and plays three instruments at once while singing. You’ll probably see him playing in his hat, wife-beater, skinny jeans, and proper boots.…
I want to compliment everyone on their professionalism during the NCFA. The Commission mentioned how proficient and professional the TXARNG was. I know everyone was taken away from their office duties in your assigned sections, but you did it without complaint. We sincerely appreciate your outstanding work during this detail. It is small thing we do as an organization that allow us to stand above the rest.…
My day started a bit off, I had an emergency that morning that made me run a bit late for clinical. This made me miss some important information such as, how nurses in NCBH hand over to the next shift, but aside that, I had a wonderful day working with nurse Mrs. Osei. She welcomes me by introducing herself, which I responded likewise. She took me with her to do her morning rounds and administer medication to her assigned patient. After we were done with her morning medication, I went to one of her patient whom I was assign to by Mrs. Natasha to perform mini mental survey and general assessment on the patients.…
This week in field was not too busy, but was busy enough to allow me to experience and complete new tasks. Although the tasks completed this week were not very challenging, they allowed me to come in contact with some of the competency skills. Competency skill 9 was re-introduced from last week. I was to report to the Arthurtown site and intern under the supervision of Ms. Julia. Ms. Julia had me continue to sort through employee files; looking for forms any of the teachers may have been missing or needed to update.…
I am now half way through with Summer Session II and the transition between high school and college has been exciting, but also overwhelming. A few differences I have noticed between my high school classes and my college classes are the size difference, the diversity in students, and the faster pace. In my high school, the average number of students in each class was about 25 to 35 compared to my biggest class now at about 200 students. Additionally, the students in my class before were mainly Hispanic, but now everywhere I look I am able to see people of different cultures and that is something that is so important to me. The reason for this is that, while I did not grow up in a diverse area, I believe that growing up around different people…
Weekly Self S.O.A.P - A. S- Discuss your SUBJECTIVE feelings for this week. This week I was assigned to be in the ICU. To say that I expected to be busy is an understatement. I knew to expect critically ill patients and to see them at their worse with different types of lines and tubes coming out of their bodies. The fragile state in which these patients find themselves was hard for me to see, it was actually a bit overwhelming the first day.…
Cindy, Wow! What a whirlwind year for 2016….with perpetually moving forward projects, commitments and workload! First, you were doing double duty at the beginning of the year, covering for me while I was off with knee replacement recovery. You did this with grace and your everlasting happiest place on earth approach, despite adding the complexities of the programs to your daily work life.…
I undertook my week of work experience at Coles located in Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre. The work experience began right after the school break and went on for 5 days (from the 11th to the 15th of April). The hours of work were from 9am to 5 pm however an hour of lunch break was set each day at 12pm. The amount of work that was set was reliant to the supervisor and the amount of work that was needed for that day.…
separated and fighting. As he ran and entered Two Mills, he said “hi” to everybody he saw. This indicated that Maniac was looking for friends, possibly a family. Another example of Maniac’s search was on page 29. The novel stated that Maniac had a name, “But not an address.…
What three things did I really learn in clinical rotations this weekend at Avante? That is a question with a multitude of answers. Having this being my first time in a hands-on, patient experience I gained many insights, tips, tricks, dos and don’ts in just forty-eight hours. I’m beyond glad that I could participate and look forward to adding to these three little snippets of what knowledge I gained. The first thing that really stands out in my mind is that patience truly is a virtue.…
After watching the 13th, I actually gained knowledge that I thought I already had known. Though the movie could have made some individuals feel out of their comfort zone or made them emotional, I would highly recommend this movie. If I were a history teacher I would show this particular documentary, so that they grow up knowing all the viewpoints not just what's in the books. My view on the justice system changed tremendously.…
Just like Little Red Riding Hood and The Rite of Spring, the red fabric represents Aya’s identity in our devised piece. At the start of the performance, the red fabric was worn as if it was a hijab, implying that the red fabric was Aya’s identity. Her identity and her nationality are what bring her the menacing fate, shown through the versatile use of the fabric. It was served to display a flag, bloody sky, bloody road, and clothing, etc. It was also used as a jail.…
Friendship is a journey you have to work for; it’s not just people that you follow on social media. In The View from Saturday by E.L. Konigsburg The souls are a group of kids who really care for each other. They talk to each other like adults and will protect each other like police do for us. The souls are all incompatible with one another, so for them to care and listen to each other is a friendship so strong it’s unreal. Julian is one of the souls who really kept them together like the a mother and her newborn.…
