So, I always saw suicide as something selfish people do in order to get away with their problems and as a result of their decision their family are the one’s left behind to clean up the mess. But now that I know more about suicide and what a suicidal person goes through when they have suicidal thoughts, will be helpful in the future, if someone I know is going through this, and also helpful for myself. If the thoughts of committing suicide crosses my mind again not only can I help myself but I can also, take the necessary action needed to ensure that I won’t act on it. Suicide is a battle of the mind and I will ensure that I or anybody that I care about will get the required help that they
