On January 17, 2017, my first day of English 106-H, my overall goal for the course was to become a stronger writer in which I could generate clear theses, express my theses in body paragraphs, and create conclusions that are not too repetitive of what I wrote, but still wrap up the entire essay. Before taking this course, I had an extremely hard time generating a thesis, let alone an entire introduction paragraph. Consequently, my papers had no structure from the introduction to form great body paragraphs. Therefore, sometimes it was not clear on what I was writing about from the introduction, leaving the reader confused.
