Strategically managing your carer can be summed up as: recognizing strengths and weaknesses, reflecting on how you can overcome weaknesses, setting a plan of action that includes the goal and completion date. The importance of strategically managing your career is the essence of understanding who you are, how you work and learn and where you need improvements or changes. Attempting to plan a career, set goals, accomplish goals, evaluate progress and create new goals based on your findings is the core to having an enriching and fulfilling work life balance. After receiving a score of ENTJ, it was very apparent that I like to solve problems with insightful logic and creativity while also generating new ideas. It was not a shocker that I am an extravert, but I also learned extraverts are often considered strong leaders, feel comfortable working groups and like working with people with the same level of dedication. As many personality tests do, I think the desire to work as a leader definitely aligns with my preferences and supports my career goals. The learning style inventory showed I have an accommodating style which looks for concrete evidence through hands on experiences. Having the ability to do things others either do not want to or can not do, think about solutions, share common practices and push the limit of our companies expectations gives me great pride. There have been instances in the past when my ideas are not used, or simply can not be accomplished, that have been deflating. By continuing to come up with new and fresh ideas, I can let go of ideas or processes that are not implemented and take rejection much less personal. This has always been a struggle for me, mostly because I am very competitive, but conquering this emotion will certainly lead to professional success.
