I always believe that someone should treat a person the way they want to be treated. I have come in contract with many people who don’t think this way. You can’t expect a person to treat you nice or with respect if he or she wasn’t taught how to give it or never had it shown to them. It was then when I put the two together and realized that Jesus had made no exceptions to that rule. If more people had this same mindset, there would be less hate and criminal activities in our society today. Also, there would be more peace and maturity within our environment. In Matthews 5-7 and Luke 6:20-49 there are many lessons and wise words of Jesus spoken. I believe Jesus is asking his followers to love each other and nothing more than to show compassion and care for each individual that you cross paths with. It portrays that through whatever you do in life to always look to the Lord for answers. No matter the rough or great times you have throughout life there is always an answer and there will always be an upside to any situation. Jesus wants every human that walks the earth to make a positive difference in the lives of others.…

Some people today tithing is only an old testament thing and does not need to be done now or some people think the rule is only ten percent of your income. Jeff helps us rethink this by teaching us 4 basic principles. The first principle is that the amount matters. This is important because if we give an amount that is small and does not matter to us then it will not matter to God.…

It has done much more than influence the way in which we rationalize and interpret, it is the reason why we rationalize and interpret the way we do. Every human being has the ability to decide what they believe and what they do not. At a very early age, we develop judgement that allows us to choose whether or not to accept certain claims. These assertions may be tempting, but our reasoning allows us to critically analyze the information with respect to all of our previous knowledge. These claims may be faith based, fact-based, or opinion. Without recognizing it, we take every bit of information we gather, analyze it, and decide whether we accept its validity.…

What this quote is saying is that what ever action or item you would want to get from someone you should return something of equal value. Having that sense of equal reciprocity is against human nature. Throughout the history of human evolution, it is the selfish ones that survive (Dawkins 2006) . Selfishness goes along with competition with both starting very early in our evolutionary history.…
