Standard four, Critical Thinking, connects to my philosophy of the same title. They connect because of how students critically think, and how teachers ask the questions. Standard five connects to my philosophy of positive classroom environment and classroom management. Classroom management creates a positive learning environment and how students learn from routines. Standard six connects to my philosophy of effective communication; this philosophy also connects somewhat to Standard five. This philosophy connects to Standard six because communicating effectively with students results in productive learning. It also connects to Standard five because communicating with the student and their parent(s) creates a positive learning environment for the student.
