At the age of a very young fifteen, I was having a lot of difficulties personally because my mother was suffering from cancer, I was experiencing the typical teenage years, and my family had just moved into my grandmother’s house because of my mother’s illness. The moment I had her everything changed and everyone fell absolutely in love with her. To this day I still say that Anna, Harvey, and his family are my saving grace. Without them I would not have been able to endure such a traumatic time in my life.
As time passed my emancipation to my father was granted and I was able to continue living with my maternal grandmother.
