I do not have a weak disposition when it comes to facing necessary difficulties, but if I feel like I am going backwards, or if I can look around me and see that my current situation is more harmful than helpful to me, then I 'll do my best to move myself to a better place. This brings me to the more practical reasons: I originally enrolled at the college because I was offered a hefty scholarship and both me and my parents had decided that it would be more economically beneficial if I was to attend there for two years and then transfer to a school more suited to my major of choice. However, when I arrived at the school, I realized very quickly that the arts program there was so small that there were practically no classes that I could take which would properly prepare me for the film major which I planned to pursue after transferring. Since most students there had decided on a major by the beginning of sophomore year, I realized that I would need to move to a school which offered more arts courses, so I could start racking up credits early on which would be more suited to my career

It all started in the eighth grade, I was nearing the end of middle school and I had a daunting decision waiting for my response. The question of where I would attend high school loomed. The decision was solely mine, I was accepted to all the schools in which I applied and my parents left the choice up to me. I narrowed my list down to two, Archbishop Williams or BC High. Archbishop Williams is a small, co-ed school fairly close to home, while BC High is a much larger, all-male school located near the city and further from home.…

I spent the fall semester of 2016 as a first-year student at Bucknell University. I found most of my classes, with the exception of one were easy, and I did not feel that I was being sufficiently challenged, academically or intellectually. The area surrounding the school did not stimulate or excite me, in the way that a city would. I decided after only a semester, to withdraw from Bucknell and am at home for the spring semester.…

After spending countless hours taking the SAT, filling our college applications, and attending college tours I felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders when received my letter of acceptance from the University of North Georgia/ Gainesville. While the thought of joining my best friend at Georgia Southern was very appealing to me, I knew it was not the right fit for me academically. If there is one thing, I have learned about myself over the years it is that I do much better in a smaller environment.…
