My Personal Heritage

Everyone has different ways of living from the way we talk to the way we do our hair all of our characteristics and actions are passed down to us from someone that came before. Have you ever looked at old pictures of family and landscapes and thought about what if I was there or how it will influence your family now? Although it may not seem as though it does, your heritage is what makes you who you are and when you don’t know of it finding yourself can be dificult. Using personal, community, and lost heritage you can find you are and what you’re missing about yourself that you may not know. A piece of jewelry or a trinket from a family member that belonged to someone before them, is your personal heritage. Not knowing about your heritage and my opinion mean something. I come from to long lines of family and only one side can identify the end. I do have the culture of my family from now but as I grow older I see how hard it is to know who you are when it's hard to find out where you came from. People in your family might die historical buildings or family trinkets might get lost or don't exist and it matters because you want to be able to pass those on. You hear about them you see pictures and you wonder why it never got to you. My great-grandfather live to be 96 years old and in all of my 17 years I have yet to see a picture of him that was taken before I was born. It's hard to think that you're missing something that someone else the four and you get jealous and frustrated because you believe you deserve to see a picture or deserve a trinket and why couldn't it just last until you got it? Lost heritage is the worst heritage you never want to lose something that you enjoy or didn't get to enjoy yet. Multiple people go through this and it really shows how much heritage can impact you as a
