In the sessions, no one were being forced to divulge their own deepest secret. Every group members feel free to be hones and be openly with other members to discover about their feelings or problems so that they do not feel they are alone in their issues. The protons, neutrons, and electrons is the information about how I sees myself in relation to others. When I was in the centre, I have a deep thought on my family members, friends, teachers, and some people who exist in my life. Such as do I have common relationships with them? In certain way, the sharing session actually very positive experience for most people because every group members are able to build a safe place to explore the problems surrounding their relationships. Through the sharing process, all members can develop a level of trust that allows all of us to be honest, open with one another, and accepting towards each other despite any faults. I found that group counselling usually is effective because members behave in ways that reflect how they are outside of the group and other members can support the individual through changing these unproductive patterns through

When I think about the boy who I was growing up, the young adult I am today, and the man I plan to be in the forthcoming years, one aspect of my life stands out to me far more radiantly than anything else: my culture, my skin, my identity as a Bangladeshi-American. There aren't many clubs or organization for Bangladeshi Americans such as myself. Make no mistake, there are certainly events for Bangladeshis living in the United states, many that I have attended due to various entreaties from my parents. These are event where the only language spoken is one that I barely speak (Bengali), the only music conversed about is that which I don't listen to or understand, and the only events discussed happen in another country that I have spent only a…

The social norm that I violated was singing out loud on a public place. Well I did not really get to sing loudly on a bus or train. I did however sing loudly while I was shopping in Wal-Mart. We - as civilization - are shaped by our interactions with people. Some people have an engaged personality; generally bold or active. Other people tend to have a shy or introverted personality, preferring to be engaged in a small group of friends and stray from large groups. I am both partially introverted and extroverted, but prefer the latter. Reading is such a major part of my life; from the time I could comprehend the written word, I had always turned towards book.…

Speaking on my experience at Sheppard Pratt as I stated before, working on an adolescent unit can be very trying on your emotions and patience. From this experience I believe I have become fully aware of my emotions and feelings. If there were ever a time I felt myself or I saw a coworker becoming irrationally emotional while working, we would offer to take a break or walk around the building and cover that coworker’s task for the time. I feel is important for a leader to know their limits and know when they need to let someone else handle the situation at hand.…

There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. I've had naysayers trying to negatively influence my thoughts, and crush my dreams by saying that said I will never amount to anything, or that I should give up on my dreams and get realistic with my goals. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I improved greatly in athletics and my academic career.…

Introduction In this reflection, I will focus on some important topics such as, what I learned about individual and business taxation from this course, what was my experience with the group project and what were the challenges that I faced during both the group project and this course. I am also going to add some main overall points that I learned. Tax is generally an amount of money that is charged by a government on a product, income, or activity so that it can pay for public services. In addition, there are several very common types of taxes: • Income Tax (a percentage of individual or corporate earnings filed to the government) • Sales Tax (taxes charged on certain goods and services) • Property Tax (taxes charged on the value of land…
