Trip To Canada

Experience #1- One of the most major transitions I faced thought my life was when I first came to Canada with my family. We were very new and we had no idea what was going on. I was only nine years old. When we first arrived in Canada, the environment, the people, the laws and many more were very new to us. It was as if we had to start all over again in life. For us it was basically the starting point to another life in a country that we knew nothing about. But for us this starting point would get me off to a better education and a better life. For example our experience was basically like unit one activity one (oh, the places you will go) it started off with a little boy discovering something very interesting and exploring new things. It was a very new experience for me and my classmates. I was going to go to a school by TTC which was quite a big deal for me since I was not used to riding the TTC by myself. So it was indeed a big bump I had to face on the road but eventually I overcame the bump and became more comfortable. High school was also a big environment for education. Also along with the big environment there were many kids. In middle school I was used to having only 300 people in a school. But as soon as I went to high school the population of kids that I’m used to rose to about one thousand to two thousand, which was the second bump I had to face on the road but I later became used to it. Overall on my journey/ transition I faced a lot of bumps, some of which were big and some were small. In order to overcome those obstacles and bumps I had a lot of help. For example my dad offered to take me to school until I got used to riding the TTC by myself. I also had a lot of support from my friends and my teachers, who told many things about high school and educated us about things related to high school so that we would feel more comfortable about it when we actually move on to high

Historical Perspective 1914-1929 The idea that people of different walks of life all have different perspectives on decisions based on life experiences speaks true to the period of 1914-1929 as the ways that British males attempted to include other members of society doesn’t seem to include everyone else. In the period between the beginning of the First World War and the beginning of the Great Depression, only white males of British descent enjoyed all the rights and privileges of being a member of society, while those who did not fit this category were excluded fro¬m society. To say that the Aboriginal people of Canada have faced harsh and despicable circumstances in order to be where they are today is true in its entirety.…

Everyone from my country, Egypt dreams of coming to the “City of opportunities,” New York. It was very hard to make such a decision. I had to move away from everything I knew: my family, my friends, and all the familiar places which house great childhood memories.…

High school was anything but easy, or at least that’s my outlook on the whole subject. Although I struggled with many things I was able to push through and make the best of a bad situation, but then again that kind of seems like a kind of motto that one could use to describe my last four years of high school. And even though I switched schools half way through high school with the help of some friends and a big help from art I was able to make it to school and complete my goal of graduating. I Switched schools half way through my second year because I was having a problem with turning in work. Once I was moved to this school I started to fail one class per semester, except for the last semester of my third year.…

This paper will review the current sanctions for those who contravene immigration policies, and will present the positive contributions of illegal immigrants. From the time Canada became a nation until 1895, a relatively free entry system allowed numerous immigrants to…

I had no preparation for what was expected out of me in the classroom, and I was terribly afraid of helping students. I was put in every class irrelevant to my major.…
