My Personal Experience: My First Day Of Class

At eight o 'clock in the morning, I start my first class, which is the most important part of my school day. I was extremely excited about my first day of class, I was finally a college student. My first class which was cornerstone ended up being the most beneficial class throughout my entire semester. Even though I was slightly nervous going to meet new people that I have never met before, I was prepared for the class since my step sister went to Florida SouthWestern before me. As much as I was prepared for college, without cornerstone, I would not have been so successful in all my classes. I also would be at loss with what career I would choose in the future. Some of those things could be how I handle situations at a job or even how I would act in a group setting. In my class, I was able to take the famous personality inventory test made by Myers-Briggs. When taking the test I discovered I am an ENTP, another name is the debater. This means I am an extrovert I also use my intuition more than my feelings and usually think my problems through. The P stands for perception which means I am aware ad capable of understanding something through my senses. The reason this is important is because categorizing myself as an ENTP I am able to see the characteristics I am strong in and weak. Some of the characteristics that an ENTP is praised for is efficient,energetic, and self-confident. While the weakness of ENTP is stubborn,impatient, arrogant. Since I know I am similar to these things I am able to act on my strengths in a workshop setting or a group setting like group projects in school. I also am able to work on my weakness since I know what they are, an example would be since I know I am stubborn I can force myself to accept a change in a group project that I disagree with. College is an important factor in becoming an Industrial/organizational psychologist because I have to attend it to get a degree in it. The dilemma is college is expensive and living is expensive. Finance was a chapter in my cornerstone class which allowed students like me to learn ways to either make money or learn how to save it. My excellent teacher taught me the most important thing in life on the day we learned about finance. There are a hundred ways to save money, the most important way is putting excess cash into a saving account. I learned about different types of saving accounts. I also learned that stocks and bonds are a type of savings that are the best way to earn money with savings since saving accounts do not earn a lot of interests. My teacher also introduced me to an app called Mint. It connects to your bank account shows all your spendings and allows you to budget your expenses. It is free and super easy to use and I was able to save like 400 dollars because of it. Since cornerstone allowed me to save money I am able to gain more money in my saving account, with this, I can spoil myself sometimes on items that I really
