My Personal Experience: My Experience At UUM University

Improved Essays
UUM is the largest university I've ever visited. Certainly a lot of experience I gained during my studies for one semester at this place. I do not deny, first time I arrived at the UUM I felt like "Oh God what is it, I cannot do this". I was doubt, can I adapt on this campus because basically UUM is located in the village which are so many palm oil plantations, forests, and monkeys. Furthermore, to go to the city takes about an hour and the city is very different with Bandung. However after some times I tried to adapt until finally I felt like "I got it guys, really". Studied in UUM was not easy, every course has many assignments and this is the important point where I started to learn how to manage time so that I can complete all the assignments …show more content…
From all above, I have learned many things. I learned to be more grateful with what I have today. Even before I often complained about the condition of Tel-U dormitory but after I get here everything is much different and I feel like how lucky I am. All of the complaints that I felt in the first time arrived at UUM, now no longer felt. We all enjoy it. UUM campus is very enjoyable. Here I learned many things, met people and learned new things. Learned on this campus made us like "forced" to mingle with others. Because every group assignment required that the group members have to come from different countries and do you guys know? This was very fun. And this was the reason why I have new friends and till now our relationship became close. One of my closest friends is Luo Ying, or I called Lynn, she is full-time students from China and she was sad when I told "I just stay here for this semester, so see you again Lynn I'll go back to Indonesia" and she said, "Oh really? So sad, I hope I can come to Indonesia and meet you". It feels like, I won't go back to Indonesia, really. And then, UUM has student unions of Indonesia called …show more content…
Me and my other three friends, namely Iqbal, Aboy and Winter join this competition and our group's name is “Cerebrum”. The competition was participated by UUM students from 6 different countries and the majority of them are last semester students and Cerebrum is the youngest group. And for your information guys, We got 2nd position for this competition, we do not think that we were able to this competition before. Then finally, I want to tell you about UUM Graduation which recently held. So in this graduation the event was different with graduation in Indonesia. Here, all graduates were not dress up, they just used formal outfit. After the trial is completed, continued with the bazaar event in front of the hall bulding. I joined the bazaar and I tried a various food that I had never seen before. Dou you know guys? There were a lot of delicious food that we can't find in Indonesia. Okay this is a little bit of my experience that I already told above. And now, I am sad when I have to go back to Indonesia. Thank you for all the peoples who helped me to studied here, especially for all lecturers Tel-U and for my parents. I hope I can go back to

If one would go around and ask the constituents of College of Dupage about their biggest issue on campus some would complain about the cafeteria food chains, the educational policies but the one complaint you would hear the most would be parking. Every year there are about 28,000 students who enroll, meaning they all attend by either riding the bus or driving. Majority of them drive, considering the fact that they are also new drivers who enjoy their newfound freedom. Since that is the case most students can't find parking, therefore they look to other options such as taking the bus, carpooling, or even scheduling classes later on in the day. Most would say the best solution would be to build a bigger parking lot or parking garage, which is…
