Volunteering here at the hospital was not a walk on the beach, but more of a bi-polar weather day of Oregon. At times it was nice and sunny, hailed, snowed, hurricane, cloudy and then back to sunshine with clear skies. It wasn’t exactly what I had expected, more intense. I really appreciate what our hospital workers around the world have to deal with and fix. Along with all other employers I now truly understand the struggle of getting bad hours, finding a ride, and having of pulled the shortest straw. With all this, however, I have gotten to be able to meet great people (shout out to my volunteer services employers), gotten wisdom when it comes to real-life stressful situations, finding ways to cope from anger, stress, depressed situations, etc. It was a great experience and I am glad I was able to make it through this
