What is my cultural identity? Well cultural identity is what your age is, what food you eat, where you are from, your gender, music you listen to, your race, economic status and many more that make you what you are. So if you are a gamer then you have certain things you do everyday, certain slang talk you say and people that you talk to everyday on the internet. So my cultural identity is that I’m a gamer, I have a certain things I do that deals with my age group, and that I’m a band nerd.
BAND

A gamer has a certain type of slang they talk. A gamer also has certain friends that they talk to regularly. I talk to people all the way in California that I met from my travels and some in Colorado that I met thru other friends. Many of my friends are gamers: Brandon and Christian are examples. We play a lot of GTA 5 together and soon when we all get that i met thru other friends. Many of my friends are gamers: Brandon and Christian are examples. We play a lot of GTA 5 together and soon when we all get games that we are all going to get we will play those also. I also recently learned that gaming is actually very good for you. Doctors that play video games are more inclined to be observant when doing surgery. So gaming is good for you. Most people think that gamers are dirty, eat pizza all day, and are lazy but i'm not any of those. Im very clean, I like pizza but I don't eat it like every day, and i’m not that lazy but I am sometimes lazy.

What does age have to do with my cultural identity? Well it’s what we all experience now. We are the children born with computers. You see babies with iPads of their own and third graders having iPhones at school. This means that my age is what makes me modern to the time period. I have my own computer, phone, XBOX and TV. So the time period now is very reliant on computers of any sort and i'm very reliant to my phone (I have to check my pocket throughout the day just to see if it’s still there).
