My Person Gloria Estefan Research Paper

My person is Gloria Estefan. She is a Singer-songwriter. She was born in Havana, Cuba. Born on September 1, 1957. She is still alive in age 58. As a toddler Estefan fled Cuba with her family. As a child Estefan liked to write poetry and she took classical guitar lessons, she found tedious. She was the lead singer for Miami Sound Machine that made top charts in the 1980s and 1990s. She was named the “Queen of Latin Pop”. She was also a seven-time grammy winner. In 1994 she won a Grammy award for best traditional tropical latin album musicares person of the year. In 1996 she won a Grammy award for best traditional tropical latin album. In 2000 she won a Grammy for best short film music video. In 2001 she won a Grammy award for best traditional tropical latin album.
