My Pc Experience Analysis

Decent Essays
So far my most experience in PCC has been positive. I have known many new people and learned lots of knowledges during these months. The classes I have taken are College one, English 100, 901, Math 15, Japanese one, and Classical guitar one.

However, things are not always go through smoothly as I expected. When I took my guitar class, I expected that all the students in my class were supposed to be as the same level as I, a beginner. But, it seemed like that everyone knew more than I did during class time. When my professor asked questions about music theory or guitar tethnics, they all could understand the questions and being able to answer it. I was depressed during that time becasue I felt embrassed when i could not answer the questions. Later, I realized that just stopping and starring at the obstacles without trying any methods to overcame it would not making me going any further in playing guitar. Therefore, I decieded to catch up with them and doing some researching online privately. Finally, I am so glad that my method workes pretty good. After I learned many new informations online, I felt like I understood more what my professor talked than before. Now, I even can answer some questions without hesitating.

I love learninng Japenese, and I have known many new friends. During my first exam, I got a 92%, though it was not as good as I expected, but I am still glad of it. During my math class, I missed my first exam, so I got a zero. However, my professor promised that she would drop our lowest grade If we did not being absent for more than four class meetings. Then, I got a perfect score on my second exam, And, my perfessore said that only four people of my class got perfect scores. I am so glad that I am the one of the

This goes for both a lower-level student and upper-level student at any level of education. The lower-level, remedial or beginner, students may see themselves as not smart enough to be in an upper-level class. They may also think that they are incapable of exceling within their education because they are not “good enough” to be in an advanced class. Say, for example, a freshman college student is taking College Prep Math while a friend is taking College Algebra. The student in College Prep Math may not feel competent enough to be at the same level as the student in College Algebra.…

Rough Draft In “Brainology”, Carol Dweck talks about how the many different types of students work for their educational goals. Also how many of them go through workshops to experiment in the project Dweck is trying to make everyone realize. As for me, I am slightly different from the students Dweck talks about, I only have one other sibling going to school that knows what I have to go through. Throughout my life I’ve experienced many lectures by the people I love and by strangers, but little did I know that their advice was going to help me in the near future…

For the last four years of my high school career I have sat in all of my classes quietly and patiently, listening to my instructors teach. I’d like to think of myself as a sponge that soaked up everything there was to learn. While there were a handful of classes that allowed hands-on learning, much of my time was spent listening -- absorbing. I took my tests, raised my hand when I knew an answer and established myself as a reliable, thoughtful student. I’m grateful for my years at Hudson High School; however, I believe in high school many people, including myself, fall into a routine.…

I recently participated in a college course, Introduction to Psychology, at Misericordia University this past year. Taking this course has taught me to expand my comfort zone by interacting with students whom I would not normally associate with, and consider various ideas and opinions from other individuals. This course has also taught me that it is essential to communicate with teachers and classmates, as they often have different viewpoints and can help make improvements, whether it is to help you academically or as a person in general. During my stay at Misericordia University, there were times I had missed a few classes and unfortunately fell behind. Thankfully, my professor and classmates were more than happy to assist by sending the information I missed and explaining the details I did not understand.…

    Close Gaps

As students there is often a lot of pressure to pass, whether it be a quiz, test or the overall course. Because of this, we often only focus on doing what we have to in order to pass as opposed to actually taking the time out to fully understand what we have been taught. This leads to partial explanations and a lot of question marks as we progress, because the basics that should be second nature to us at this point, have not been fully comprehended, leading to “gaps” in their learning. I remember going through a similar experience growing up, and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one. However, there are many ways that these fundamental gaps can be filled, starting with eliminating a lot of the “passing pressure” and allowing people to do…
