It has been over 5 years since obtaining my last Master’s Degree and I do not have any academic professors who could support my desire and attest to my ability of being a great candidate, but I have included my current and former directors as recommenders who were ecstatic to hear that I had made the decision to follow through with what they know to be a passion of mine. Both of my directors are LPC’s and come with an abundance of experience in the social services and mental health field. Not only are they my directors, but are also two of my mentors who will also contribute to my success.
I will use a host of resources to support my success as a student. The organization in which I work for is a leading agency in Georgia for Trauma Informed Care. They are a leader in social justice when it comes to fighting for the rights and equality of individuals with mental health issues, promoting diversity and supporting the homeless and LGBTQ
