My Passion For Research Paper

My reason behind taking this photo came from my passion for creating art. Art often puts me in a feel-good mood no matter what I may be going through, and that includes photography. Ever since I was a little, I loved to draw. It wasn't the final drawing or masterpiece that I loved, it was the process of drawing. I began my journey of an artist many years ago in hopes of one day becoming an animator for Pixar studios. I see myself as an artist who wants to share my vision with the world, not to gain money, or fame but to express my passion. I tend to focus and observe when drawing and put on paper whatever I'm thinking and feeling. Art puts me in a feel-good mood, I draw, color and paint to express my feelings. It distracts me and is a valuable part of my emotional self-care. Even though I may not …show more content…
Finding moments of quiet in this bustling world is something that you seek. I can be influenced and inspired by works of others, but the whole idea of art is individual creativity. Over the years I've had many difficulties in creating my own art style, in which help developed a seed of doubt in my skills. I've spent a large amount of time and money trying to identify my style. It wasn't until I stopped looking that I found it, the manifestation of my very being. I uncovered my art style thanks to my mother. During the time we spent apart, I drew on postcards for her using a variety of styles and subjects. When I went to visit her in America for the first time, I bought three large paintings to put on the wall. They were three about 24"x34" all in different art styles, and among them was one of mine. She had no idea that one the paintings were mine, and yet she was able to tell which one it was. At that moment, I knew that I had found what I've been looking for after so many years. Staying true to my vision and taking a calculated amount of risk is the only way I can become a good

The artwork I chose to imagine is Van Gogh’s famous oil painting called Starry Night. It was painted in June of 1889 and has grown to be known as one of his most famous paintings. Van Gogh was a post-impressionist and painted Starry Night from memory in his apartment. The view is of a village from a window in an asylum. I chose this painting because it has always been hanging in my Aunt’s living room.…

why are humans so obsessed with excess? If we want something, something that we love, say a family member or even a burger, what compels us to want more than we need of it? For one, we may have an underlying fear of losing it, so we turn to the only solution we can think of, take as much as we possibly can since it could go away, or run out, or someone could take it from us. Perhaps, we become greedy because we are not quite satisfied with what we are getting, so we adopt the belief that more is better, five burgers will be more satisfying than one, when in fact it isn't a burger that we really want. Perhaps we may become greedy out of envy; the realisation that in reality, the family member and the burger that we love isn’t ours in that we…

Photography captures and preserves the significant and insignificant moments in life enabling mankind to broaden its understanding in a world where man regularly interacts with one another thousands of miles across an ocean. Nothing, however, can replicate the unfiltered, first-hand experience one undergoes, yet many forms of art, including photography, are conduits through which man may attempt to share such an experience. Each medium of art, consequently, is subject to the natural biases with which its creator endows, and though photography minimizes such biases through its rather objective capture, the photographer ultimately selects which experiences are significant and how to illustrate that in a photograph. A picture is, indeed, worth…

It has been said for photography it takes imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes looking before you learn to see the extraordinary. At first painting was used to make a picture, especially portraits that were made by painters for first or middle class families. Painting offered a wide selection of transferable subjects from nudes, portraits, still life, and landscapes that even photography could mimic and adapt.…

I do not think that I have ever experienced the feeling of loving someone or having a strong interest for someone, in the romantic aspect, that is genuine and not superficial. Honestly, it is the closest I have ever come to falling in love, being the oddest feeling because it is the moment you realize that you are not interested in anybody except the person who your heart has chosen. It is the moment that I think about the person constantly, like an obsession or an addiction. It works in mysterious ways because it is so strong and it makes of you a whole different person. It is so strong that it can hurt so much.…

I had never expanded my knowledge of art beyond the fact that I can draw a pretty picture and I can photograph flowers at interesting angles. So basically I was still picturing an elementary school style art class, with a mother hen for my teacher, holding my hand along the way, directing every stroke of my paintbrush, regurgitating famous artists’ work and working straight from a photograph. Copy-paste, copy-paste. I was always told I had great technique and a good eye for organization in a piece, so I thought I was set for success.…

Detaching myself from the emotional aspects of working with and for the sake of children, I am interested in child health because children are constantly growing and developing. In respects to neuroscience, I am able to see and research neurological diseases and cognitive functions as it applies to a brain that is constantly changing. The adult brain does have some plasticity, but it is incomparable to that of a child’s. I am fascinated by the aspect of change and development and how that influences the variables being researched.…
