Payer side for well rounded knowledge working on ACA was most exciting professional experience
Witnessing first hand how the law affects companies, members, plan design worked closely with network, product, actuarial, and regulatory
Wanted to apply both my provider and payer knowledge and move to Denver
Short term goal - manage the non-clinical aspects of a complex multi-facted department such as the Emergency or Perioperative departments
Long term - bring health care into the 21st century by applying business tools and processes that are commonly used in business but the healthcare industry has been slow to adopt.
Refused to close OR due to negative publicity
An important part of being a leader is having the vision to see not just what is needed now, but what will be needed in three years. Courses like _________ and ___________ will provide the foresight I need to make intelligent strategic decisions.
