Fashion designing is one of the most exciting and demanding professions of today. The world of design has always fascinated me. Since my childhood, I have enjoyed designing my dresses and helping my friends and family members to manage their outfits. From my primary stage of education, I have a passion for drawing sketches, etc. from the very beginning stage, I believe that I should be a fashion designer. I fell even though “designing is one of the youngest professions but it is one of the oldest human acts.

I received several accolades for academic proficiency sports and dance. Later in my graduation, I chose fashion designing as my majors for B.Ftech degree to enhance the designing skills, awarded from renowned SNDT University.
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Costume Designer/ Graphic Designer at Richa Art and Accessories. As a freelancing, I also supply my embroidery designs to local market boutiques, this helps me to understand the market place and trends better.
Previously, I interned with Sonia Jetleey (Fashion Designer), Varija Bajaj (Fashion Designer) and Fractal Design (export house), these internships helped me to substantiate my color senses, knowledge of designing silhouette and choosing fabric, also helped me in learning merchandising and worker management. I intend to learn everything about fashion designing because a complete knowledge is essential for success. I want people to dress themselves in the outfits designed by me. Today many students interested in designing are crossing continents in search of new artistic sensibilities, methodologies and opportunities. I want to be one of those design students to break my regional barriers for higher and best education I can get in a country like UK.
