My Parents's Life: Changes In My Life

Day by day, our life continues to change as a result of a gap between my parents and myself. As my mother, Guadalupe and my dad Rene continue to live their lives as if these changes did not affect them, they will not understand the struggles of my teenage lifestyle. For me, my life is completely different compare to my parents when it comes communication with the outside world. Besides the fact that our way of communicating is different, my sense of fashion and expression is beyond what a proper young lady should be in their eyes. Though my parents and I may not see eye to eye with most of the changes that comes in our lives, we are still a family and always stick with our tradition.

Living with my parents, everything was a struggle between them and I when it came into wardrobe. Going back to their own customs, my parents believe that a young lady should be dressed professional with their hair done right and looking nice and neat. For one thing, my parents believe that woman should do all the house work and care for their loving family like my mother does today. However, my way of expressing myself as a young lady is totally different compare to them. For example, most girls today were lots of colorful clothing and beautiful patterns, but not me. As a girl who loves to express herself the way she is, I like to live my life in the dark side. I am not like other girls who wear pinks and purples, that is just not me.
