Charlie pretending the be asleep, but still scared. The person isn't his mom or dad. The person carries in two bags with body shape like figures in them. While Charlie takes a peek at what he is doing, Charlie sees him writing something on the wall, in a bright, ruby red blood like colour. With Charlie being so agitated but trying his best to keep still, the murderer climbs under Charlie's bed. Charlie opens his eyes slowly… the writing on the wall reads, ‘I know you're awake’
Charlie is waiting for hours for the man to leave his room, still as scared as rabbit when faced. Hours pass and Charlie finally gets to sleep. He wakes up to find the man has gone, the bags have gone and his parents have gone. His heartbeat had slowed down while he slept, but was still agitated. He goes looking for his parents but can’t find them anywhere, he asks his neighbours, calls his grandparents’, his school, his friends but they are nowhere to be found, it's like they have disappeared. He takes one last look in their ensuite. He opens the sliding down which makes a loud creak… There they are. Dead. On the bathroom floor. He screams in agony and runs down the the home phone and dials 911 slowly as his hands are shaking uncontrollably. He can't bear to look at their pale white faces and he realises they are his parents. The flashing ambulance arrived immediately, the sirens could be heard from kilometres away. They run in frantically looking for the young boy who had called up. Charlie yells out, with a cry in his voice. The paramedics are doing all they can. Nothing seems to be waking them up. EVerything seems to be going quiet for Charlie. He still sees everyone, but no sound. He hears someone open the front door. A feminine voice sounds to be in her mind forties yells out, ‘Charlie? Are you awake?’. The voice sounds very familiar to Charlie… like his mother's. He chooses to ignore it, he is probably hallucinating. A tall, brown hair, blue-eyed woman and a man only just taller than her walks through the old wooden door of his parents room. It's his parents. Charlie doesn't believe it.
