My Papaw Research Paper

According to Webster's Dictionary, the definition of role model is "a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated." In today's society, many feel as if positive role models are a rarity. To be a positive role model people have to have good character. It is difficult to find someone for good inspiration, but I believe my papaw is a positive role model. I believe he is a positive role model because he gives good advice, has always supported his family, and has high expectations for me. First of all, my papaw gives the best advice. If I am ever in trouble or need someone's opinion I can go and talk to him. His advice is usually a more positive opinion and it always keeps me motivated. Even if the situation is very serious, he adds humor to his advice and it brighten my day. His advice is not the only thing that makes him a great role model. In addition to his advice, he has always supported his family. When I grow up, I want to follow in his footsteps and support my families needs. He has worked every since he was, at least, sixteen. When he had his first child he knew that he had to continue working for his families health. To me, a person that supports their family is very inspirational. I want to be an inspiration to somebody just like he has been to me. He did not go to college and become rich, but being rich is not what makes an amazing role model.
