This was a very outlandish, and also an informative experience. I was unaware of PrEP and the needle exchange program. PrEP is an advocate in preventing the occurrence of HIV. I am so very thankful for this discovery; I just wish that it wasn’t something that we had to look for. I am a little indifferent about the needle exchange program. People can come into this facility and get new needles. This enables individuals to not spread disease to others, but it also promotes individuals to continue self-harm. I didn’t expect to learn as much as I did. It seemed so surreal backpacking through Chicago. Getting the privilege to visit a mosque, having Dunkin Donuts with strangers, becoming knowledgeable about TPAN, and entering an impeccable Catholic Church brought about several emotions. This experience surfaced a lot of troubling issues and evils. It also showed that God is still prevalent. I know that I need to do something, but I am uncertain of what I need to do.
