My Overall Goal

My overall goal in this project was to get a job or just look into getting one. I chose this goal because I want/need a job and I want my own money because instead of asking my parents for money I can just get the money out of my pocket. I barely ask my parents for money, but still, I would like to have my own money because my sister always pays for me everywhere we go. I would like to do the same back to her. I’ve procrastinated so bad that I’m doing my project in the last week that its due because I already have a busy schedule and that I’m trying to fit another thing into my schedule. Trying at first to fit the things needed to do for my personal development project, but I got busy with the church choir, religious education when I already go to a private school and babysitting my annoying little brothers that get on my nerves 24/7 I still …show more content…
Which my schedule contains having church choir on Tuesdays, maybe Wednesdays and Thursday, and then adding on to the Wednesday I have religious education on Wednesday too, then whenever my parents are busy or at work, I have to watch my little brothers. An added thing I had troubles with is getting a working permit. Like I can’t drive myself to the places I needed to go, which is why it’s hard to get the working permit. Procrastinating is a bad thing to do when you have a busy schedule and have a lot of things on it you have to do. The most helpful thing during the process is the schedule that I did. Because I laid everything out on my calendar and see where I can fit my personal development project. I had to fit it with a church choir, babysitting, and religious education. Having a busy schedule will lead on to be busier. The calendar helped me, so I won’t forget the things like my religious education, babysitting and my church choir and other things I

The main reason why I think that HACC is the best choice for me is because of the cost. The rates per credit are around $250 and that is for in-state residents. The total cost for a commuter would be around $13,750 for a student who is full time, which means they are taking 12 credits per term (Stager). This price of $13,750 includes the price of books, supplies, food, and transportation and it is an average price for all HACC students (HACC.edu). I think that I could easily cut some of the cost by trying to buy my books online for a cheaper price or even eating at home to save a lot of money.…

Having grown up in a family that was torn by divorce, the crippling changes in the economic situation in my home country and eventually immigration, my only financial goal is to be without a lack of assets. Having to pay my own way through undergrad, as well as providing for my personal needs such as clothing, technology and transportation and almost all of my own groceries since I was old enough to work, at no point in my life thus far have I been able to save any of my income for long periods of time. In the short term, my goal is to have enough money to pay for my education, as I recently found out that there is a limit to borrowing. A mid-term goal is to become debt free by age 30, although lofty, I believe is achievable. As for long term, my goal is to have enough to retire and to help pay for a portion of my future children’s education.…
