Paper On Personality Test

I have taken a couple personality tests to see how my opinion on my personality compares to a computer generated opinion of my personality. Obviously I know myself better than a computer does but it could give me incite on how and why I fell or act the way I do. I can describe myself as outgoing, cheerful, lively, comical, adventurous, etc. Everyone can say what they are, but can’t always tell you why they are the way they are. I think everyone should take a personality test at some point just to see how you can be perceived by others. The main point from taking these tests is to find out more about who you are. You can really never know too much about yourself because you can never truly know yourself. I enjoy knowing all I can about myself so taking this test was an enjoyment. I learned what suites me best although it may not be one hundred percent true, it is still a learning experience. Personality is the quality of being a person; existence as a self-conscious human being; personal identity (Dictionary). The term personality came from the word persona, which referred to a costume that was being worn by actors on stage several thousand years ago (Bhandari). There are a thousand different ways of describing personality, I chose what that wasn’t overly complicated but very understandable. Basically your personality is what defines you and what you are. There are a million different ways you could describe your personality, by what you like to wear, what you like to do, what you like to eat, what you wish you were doing, what you dream about, etc. The list goes on and on and will never end. There is no incorrect definition to personality, it is too vague of a word with too many means, and how are you supposed to sum that up in one
