My Opinion About The Movie Glory

My opinion about the movie Glory is very interesting, it is a good movie because it talks about the treatments that African Americans endured during the war and also during training camp. This movie shows how the African American men fought for the country in which they agree not to get commission. They also were threatened at a point to if they stayed in the military then they would become slaves or even killed, the general or corporal was also threatening if they kept the African Americans in the military that they will be charged or even sentence to death. This movie is accurate because it shows the treatment that African Americans had to deal with even in the military, it shows that that they choose to fight for free just to have freedom even if they endured racism along the way which they did. Considering that out of few soldiers that they had issues with one another they still became as one to go to war. This movie helps inform us that no matter what obstacle they went through they still fought for respect, in the past even though they were offered to get paid $10 for being in the military they choose not to get paid because they did not think it was enough with what they were going through and wanted better pay. This movie shows that they for what they believed in even if it was right or wrong, in today’s military they cannot discriminate towards anybody that wants to be in the military but in the past, they did.
